It’s week three of the Halloween Challenge, and that means it’s finally time to share this this story, which is one I’m both pleased with and also wish I’d had more time to work on. Here’s a quick synopsis:

The first time Maya and Hattie met, they were inseparable, going on incredible adventures around the farmhouse and playing with Maya’s dog, Gizmo. But age can transform friendships, and the bond between them will be tested as Maya grows older and starts to find her place in the world.

Because Hattie Palmer is bound to the farmhouse, and will never grow up.
